President's Report
August 1st, 2008
Spring 2008 proved to be an awesome time for the brothers of Alpha Gamma.
Once again, the brothers got first place in Greek Sing during Greek Week, cementing our place as the fraternity to beat when it comes to any show-style events. We also had our Carnation Ball at the Renaissance with the Blue Notes providing the music for our classy night out. This Spring also had the return of the Shipwreck Party Weekend where a good time was had by all of our brothers and guests.
The summer was exciting for Delta Sigma Phi as well. Two members attended the Leadership Institute and came away with some great knowledge and passion to share with the rest of the brothers. We also had a trial-run with the brothers living at the house for a new meal plan. It proved to be very successful, and we look forward to making it bigger for the fall.
As the fall 2008 semester started, we initiated 2 incredible gentlemen. Directly after, we dove right into Fall Rush and pinned 18 New Members as well as extended the pledgeship for one of our men from the spring.
The brothers of Alpha Gamma are excited for what this fall semester has in store. Don\'t hesitate to drop by at any time. We look forward to seeing everyone at the football tailgates and Homecoming!
