Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Sigma Phi once more closed the books on another successful Spring semester. This year’s end was marked by a successful Spring rush- having pinned ten outstanding young gentlemen, an exciting Greek Week competition, and having been selected as a finalist for the Pyramid of Excellence award – the top recognition presented by the national fraternity.

As we move on towards the Summer, we are looking forward to an exciting National Convention and a productive school semester.

Fall of 2010 marks the start of yet another academic year, and the Alpha Gamma Chapter, here at Georgia Tech, is off to a strong start. We are very excited about our new Phi Pledge Class, having pledged 20 new potential new members. In addition to this, we have also initiated 5 brothers of our Upsilon Class from last Spring.

We have also had a very productive summer, having sent two brothers to the Delta Sigma Phi Leadership Institute, and another six to the Georgia Tech LeaderShape Program.

The Alpha Gamma chapter of Delta Sigma Phi has experienced an exciting Spring 2010 semester.

This semester has been really busy and productive for our chapter, nine brothers and one new member attended the Regional Leadership Academy in Atlanta, GA. In further pursuit of leadership experiences, our chapter had eight brothers accepted to the prestigious Georgia Tech LeaderShape Program, which will occur towards the end of summer.

In addition to this, our semi-annual blood drive with the American Red Cross finished earlier this semester and was quite a success.

We are looking forward to the end of another great semester! We just completer the annual Georgia Tech Greek Week and finished 7th, just a few points out of medaling. We had an impressive showing and tremendous participation, including making it to the Greek Sing Finals.

We are also looking forward to the Alumni Golf Tournament, where we will have a fun day of friends and golf. Hope to see you there.

Fall 2009 has begun another exciting school year for the brothers of Delta Sigma Phi, Alpha Gamma chapter.

This summer, five brothers attended the National Convention in St. Louis and proudly brought home awards for exemplary Membership Recruitment and Improved Recruitment. We also had two of our Brothers, Sebastian Marulanda and Kyle Thomas, attend the Leadership Institute near Indianapolis.

Our semi-annual blood drive with the American Red Cross just finished and brought in a record breaking 504 pints of blood!

We are looking forward to another great semester! Football season beings next Saturday with the Jacksonville State Game. We are excited about the chartering of the new Alpha Gamma Alumni Chapter at Homecoming. And, of course, looking forward to beating U(sic)GA at home this year!
